Job summary

Referment in New York is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Program Operations Manager who blends people leadership with hands-on operational improvement. You will build a team of L&D coordinators and partner with a generative-AI learning team to bring new ideas into well-run initiatives and help the wider team adopt AI tools in practical ways.

This role is for an execution-minded leader who simplifies complex work, strengthens processes, develops people, and coordinates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least seven years in programme or project management, operations, or related field.
• Proven record of improving processes in fast-moving environments.
• Experience managing and developing people with strong organisation and delegation skills.
• Practical understanding of generative-AI concepts and tools and helping others adopt AI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to operate through ambiguity while maintaining momentum.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop L&D coordinators, setting priorities and providing feedback.
• Partner with generative-AI learning team to deliver initiatives from planning through execution.
• Identify manual and time-intensive L&D processes, redesigning them to be more efficient and AI-supported.
• Encourage practical adoption of generative-AI tools within team workflows.
• Keep multi-stakeholder programmes on track by anticipating risks and communicating with senior stakeholders.
