King's Fish House in San Jose, CA is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will support management, assist with expediting, and help ensure food quality and timely service in a lively, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• High school graduate, some college.
• Any previous supervisor experience.
• 2 years’ experience in a kitchen/cook role.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge of menu and item quality standards.
• Ability to focus under interruptions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products.
• Records all waste on tracking sheet.
• Nightly protein count.
• Assists KM/EKM in counting weekly inventory.
• Ensures food products meet recipe specifications and quality.
• Ensures timing standards during production.
• Inspects and approves dishes before serving.
• Ensures health and safety regulations.
• Cooks when needed to support flow of business.
• Notifies management of shift activities.
