Job summary

Golden Corral is seeking an energetic Kitchen Manager to lead the back-of-house operations at our Lansing-area restaurant. You will supervise food production, implement recipes, ensure quality, safety, and cleanliness, and manage labor in collaboration with the General Manager.

As a member of the restaurant operations management team, you will drive standards, training, and performance with a focus on guest satisfaction and efficient, high-volume service across busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong, stable work history with management experience in a high-volume casual dining environment.
• Education and training normally associated with college coursework in business or hospitality.
• Successful completion Golden Corral's comprehensive management training program.
• Position requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• In this Kitchen Manager role, you are responsible for food production and operating the Back-of-the-House using Golden Corral products, recipes, procedures and company systems to ensure that quality food, recipes, and cleanliness standards are met for guests.
• As a member of the restaurant operations management team, you are also responsible for the restaurant’s overall operations, including food quality, production, safety, and labor in the absence of the General Manager and Hospitality Manager.
