Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order supplies and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, while making sure every dish is delicious and served to our standards.

The Kitchen Leader keeps the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked, maintains equipment, and promotes teamwork across back- and front-of-house.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables to order.
• Order supplies and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure food quality and safety of all dishes.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked.
• Maintain equipment and fix issues promptly.
• Promote teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house.
• Model company values and deliver excellent customer service.
• Support throughput and staff development.
