Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grilling, and sautéing, ensuring delicious, high-quality meals. You will train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards while promoting teamwork and great customer experiences.

The role emphasizes hands-on cooking, leadership development, and collaboration with both back-of-house and front-of-house teams to drive efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and train Crew members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order following Chipotle procedures.
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory and food waste; keep kitchen organized.
• Coach and develop Crew toward Kitchen Leader roles.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation in the kitchen.
• Ensure equipment operates correctly and notify maintenance as needed.
• Promote teamwork between back and front of house.
• Prioritize customer service and throughput.
