Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while guiding crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will manage ordering, training, and ensure consistent, high-quality food and customer experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, operating a clean, well-stocked kitchen, equipment maintenance, and a strong safety mindset to minimize injuries and ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location
• High school diploma required
• Restaurant experience required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure repairs or maintenance as needed
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)
