Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables.

You will be responsible for ensuring food is absolutely delicious, ordering ingredients, and training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. The Kitchen Leader helps ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle’s delicious food every day, keeping the kitchen clean, organized and well stocked, and equipment maintained.

Qualifications

• Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables.
• Ensure food quality by cooking to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Promote teamwork and a great customer experience.
• Foster Crew development to become future Kitchen Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures.
• Cook and prep food to order to ensure quality.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized and well stocked; maintain equipment.
