Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order food, train Crew members, and help them become future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader ensures food quality and safety, keeps the kitchen clean and well stocked, and maintains equipment. You will model teamwork, support a strong back-of-house and front-of-house dynamic, and promote a exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned, sanitized and equipment maintained.
• Ensure MSDS and FIFO processes are followed.
