Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. seeks a Kitchen Leader in Kokomo, IN to learn and supervise food prep, grilling, and station leadership. You’ll order supplies, train Crew, and ensure a delicious, safe dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities include maintaining food quality, inventory, and teamwork across back and front of house, while upholding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy and safety standards. Great opportunity for growth with a values-driven company.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience is required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues.
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively in order to ensure great customer service and throughput.
• Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitoring kitchen equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair; repairing malfunctioning equipment quickly.
• Ensuring that the kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Filling out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
