Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in Lafayette, IN. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You’ll ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, stays clean, and meets safety standards, all while promoting teamwork and delivering a great guest experience. You will mentor Crew members, manage food quality and inventory, and help maintain a positive, efficient operational flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Crew and customers.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory, resolving issues as needed.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Maintain clean, sanitized, and well-stocked kitchen areas.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and safety guidelines are followed.
