Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Auburn, Indiana is seeking a Kitchen Leader to coach and train Crew while preparing delicious food to order and maintaining kitchen standards. You will lead by example, ensure food quality, safety, and team collaboration, and help guide Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will oversee food prep, inventory, sanitation, and equipment maintenance, while promoting a great customer experience and efficient throughput in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have restaurant experience.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well‑stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation as required.
