Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will ensure delicious food, order food, and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will promote teamwork and a great customer experience on a busy shift.

The role emphasizes food quality, safety, and maintaining a clean, stocked kitchen with properly functioning equipment, while mentoring Crew members toward leadership roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is clean, organized, and properly sanitized; equipment maintained.
