Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while mentoring Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, maintain equipment, and promote teamwork to deliver a great customer experience.

This role emphasizes hands-on training, speed, and a positive, collaborative culture with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to follow Chipotle policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crews.
• Develop Crewmembers to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crewmembers and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned, sanitized, and organized; equipment maintained.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries; manage MSDS and FIFO documentation.
