Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring the kitchen is clean, stocked, and safe. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and promote teamwork to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

As the Kitchen Leader, you’ll monitor food quality, waste, and inventory, and ensure equipment is maintained. You will work hands-on to meet station goals and support both back- and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order while following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well-organized.
