Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn prep, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring delicious, consistently prepared foods. You’ll order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader helps ensure food quality and safety, keeps the kitchen clean and well stocked, and supports a teamwork-driven environment focused on delivering a great customer experience. You’ll mentor Crew and uphold standards daily.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location (English).
• Have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste and inventory; resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized and well stocked.
