Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will train Crew members to become future leaders while maintaining quality, safety, and a smooth-running kitchen.

Responsibilities include ensuring food quality, managing inventory, and promoting a strong team dynamic to deliver excellent customer service. This role emphasizes leadership, efficiency, and adherence to policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow Chipotle policies and procedures.
• Willingness to learn and train others to become Kitchen Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels.
• Ensure food quality and safety across all dishes.
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked kitchen area.
• Train Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers for great service.
• Keep kitchen equipment in good repair and report malfunctions.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO paperwork as required.
