Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring our food is delicious and safe. You’ll order food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers for excellent service.
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and arrange repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
