Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, maintain equipment, and model teamwork to deliver a great customer experience.

This role emphasizes responsibility, communication with Crew and customers, and hands-on problem solving on the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food quality; resolve issues as they arise.
• Support back-of-house and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Maintain equipment and ensure timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
