Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food prep, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring quality and safety. You will stock, train others to become future Kitchen Leaders, and promote teamwork to deliver a great customer experience.

You’ll lead by example, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and ensure equipment is maintained while guiding Crew to meet goals and uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized; ensure equipment is maintained.
