Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen, while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

You will supervise tasks on the line, support equipment maintenance, and model teamwork with Crew to meet station goals and throughput.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food quality; reduce waste.
• Support strong teamwork between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members toward Kitchen Leader roles.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well-maintained equipment.
