Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and ensure food safety, cleanliness, and stock control on a fast-paced line. You will also order supplies, monitor waste and inventory, and uphold Chipotle’s standards for quality and safety, while guiding teammates to meet station

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience.
• Willingness to learn and train others to become Kitchen Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food by cooking and prepping to order following kitchen procedures.
• Ensure food quality and monitor inventory; resolve issues as needed.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and address malfunctions promptly.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation as required.
