Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to supervise food preparation, maintain quality, safety, and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. You will train Crew members and guide them toward becoming future Kitchen Leaders while ensuring outstanding guest experiences.

You’ll manage food orderings, inventory, and equipment maintenance, promote teamwork between back of house and front of house, and uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and communication are essential in coordinating back-of-house and front-of-house operations.
• Basic understanding of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy and how it applies to daily tasks.
• Experience in a restaurant environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Ensure food quality and safety, monitor waste and inventory.
• Train Crew members and develop future Kitchen Leaders.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen and proper equipment maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Manage MSDS and FIFO inventory practices.
