Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while upholding quality and safety. You’ll train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders and ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.

You will lead by example, promote teamwork, and keep the kitchen clean, well stocked, and on schedule. Join a values-driven team committed to great food and service.

Qualifications

• Must understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Must have a high school diploma and restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation; monitor equipment and repair as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
