Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grilling, and sautéing to ensure delicious, high-quality food. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders while promoting teamwork and a great customer experience.

The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, organized kitchen, proper stock levels, and safe operation of equipment. You’ll help your teammates meet goals and support a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle’s policies and procedures; cook and prep food to order; follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew; develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned, sanitized and equipment is maintained; prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO records.
