Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring delicious, safe, and high‑quality meals. You’ll order food and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You’ll promote teamwork, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, maintain equipment, and model Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy while delivering excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Restaurant experience is required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory and resolve quality issues.
• Support team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned, sanitized and properly stocked.
• Maintain equipment and address malfunctions promptly.
• Follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS forms and manage FIFO inventory rotation.
