Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables to order. You will train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and well-stocked, and maintain equipment in good condition while modeling teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food by grilling meats and sautéing vegetables to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Order ingredients and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure quality and safety of Chipotle's food, keeping the kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and equipment maintained.
• Promote teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews and develop Crew members.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep kitchen sanitized and ensure all equipment is functional and safe.
• Maintain kitchen safety and adherence to MSDS and FIFO procedures.
