Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables to ensure delicious and consistent meals. You will order supplies and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Hold a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality and inventory levels; address issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well‑stocked.
• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment; arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
