Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring our food is delicious. You will order the food and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader ensures quality and safety of food daily, keeps the kitchen clean and stocked, and acts as a role model for Crew members while promoting teamwork and a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food waste; resolve quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment; report issues promptly.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO records.
