Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables, ensuring delicious, safe meals. You will order food and train crew to become future Kitchen Leaders while driving teamwork and customer satisfaction.

You will promote Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, comply with kitchen safety, and mentor Crew members to reach leadership goals, all while maintaining strong operations on the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality and inventory; resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized and equipment is maintained.
