Job summary

WDC Kitchen & Bath Center in Southern California is seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team. You’ll respond to inquiries, build proposals, and guide customers from needs assessment to closing a sale in a fast-paced showroom.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years in goal-oriented sales, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. You will cover weekend shifts and wear professional attire as you help homeowners, contractors, and designers find the right solutions.

Qualifications

• Two years in a goal-oriented sales environment.
• One year in customer service or customer-facing environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Good organizational skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication with active listening.
• Minimum High school diploma or GED.
• Availability to work 5 weekly shifts totaling 40 hours (9:00am–6:00pm).
• Showroom environment: sitting/standing/walking, computer and phone use.
• Business professional attire required.

Responsibilities

• Promptly respond to sales inquiries by phone, email, or in person.
• Attend ongoing training to stay current on products.
• Build proposals and quotes reflecting customer needs.
• Capture client data and sales order information using company tools.
• Cultivate reliability with customers for return and referral opportunities.
• Achieve monthly development and sales goals.
• Work as a team to maintain a positive, respectful environment.
• Cover store hours including weekends and some holidays.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures and after-hours events.
