Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our showroom-focused team. This full-time, in-person role centers on accurately capturing and verifying order information, assisting customers, and supporting outside sales with quotes.

You will work at the showroom counter, handle phone inquiries, help walk-in customers, and strive to deliver high levels of service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a similar position preferred.
• Knowledge of Cabinetry, Kitchen & Bath or similar Building Materials preferred.
• Developed customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word, Outlook for daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work at the Showroom counter with direct contact with customers, assisting on phones when needed.
• Work closely alongside outside sales representatives with customer orders and quotes
• Assist walk-in customers in the showroom with questions and order placement
• Solicit new or complimentary sales for customers via phone and in showroom
• Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues
