Job summary

Richelieu is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our onsite Charlotte team. You will handle order information, provide quotes, assist showroom visitors, and support outside sales reps to ensure accurate and timely processing.

The role requires related experience, knowledge of cabinetry or building materials, and strong customer-service, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office is expected; AS400 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar customer service role.
• Knowledge of cabinetry, kitchen & bath or building materials.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with initiative.
• Creativity and drive to develop solutions.
• AS400 experience is a plus but not required.
• High school diploma; some college is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls from customers and provide sales quotes.
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives on orders and quotes.
• Assist walk-in customers in the showroom with questions and orders.
• Solicit new or additional sales via phone and in-person in showroom.
• Research product solutions to resolve field-project issues.
