Job summary

KidStrong in Chesapeake, VA seeks an Assistant General Manager to co-lead the center, driving operations, sales, and coaching excellence for children from walking to 11 years old. This leadership role partners with the General Manager to nurture a learning culture and deliver strong business results.

You will develop staff, manage KPIs, schedule events, and ensure an exceptional kid-and-family experience while maintaining safety and brand standards across the center.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching kids ages 15 months to 11 years is required.
• Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Training via LearnUpon as required by HQ Training and Certification team.
• Prior management experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with systems like ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP is a plus.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand center KPIs and financials to drive decisions.
• Build relationships with families to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives such as maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly center cleaning and maintenance.
• Sell and schedule events, camps, and parties to boost profitability.
• Maintain flawless lead management and drive bookings.
• Proactively attend local events to raise brand awareness and leads.
