Job summary

KidStrong is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our center leadership team. You will work closely with the General Manager to foster a culture of learning and development for coaches and families, and to drive key business results such as sales and member retention.

You will lead center operations, coach staff, manage scheduling, and partner with HQ to implement programs. This is a hands-on, child-focused role requiring energy, strong communication, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background and passion for working with children 15 months to 11 years old.
• Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete LearnUpon training as required by HQ Training and Certification.
• Experience with pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Center Operations: understand KPIs and financials; maintain relationships with families; oversee center initiatives; perform cleaning/maintenance; 4 weekdays and 1 weekend shift.
• Sales: manage leads, close bookings, attend local events to drive memberships.
• Leadership: coach staff, onboarding, training, and evaluating coaching candidates; develop staff via LearnUpon; communicate professionally using Slack/Email.
