Job summary

KidStrong is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager in Chesapeake to partner with the General Manager, drive sales, and ensure an outstanding experience for kids and families. You will lead coaching staff, manage events, and oversee daily operations while maintaining KidStrong values across the center.

The role emphasizes growth, training, and data-driven decisions, with a schedule that includes weekdays and a weekend shift. A passion for leadership and child development is essential.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with kids aged 15 months to 11 years.
• Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification.
• Complete training through LearnUpon as required by HQ Training and Certification.
• Prior experience in management is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Google and Microsoft platforms; familiarity with coaching tools is a plus.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Understand KPIs and financials to guide informed business decisions.
• Build relationships with KidStrong families to provide exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives: maintenance, training, brand consistency.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance of the center.
• Sell and schedule events such as camps and parties to maximize profitability.
• Lead coaching culture and partner with GM on onboarding and staff development.
• Coach students with a Brain/Physical/Character development curriculum.
