Job summary

KidStrong Virginia Beach seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead with energy, coach staff, and ensure an exceptional experience for kids and families. You will partner with the General Manager to manage coaching quality, staff development, and daily center operations, while driving sales and reducing member attrition.

You will work closely with families, coaches, and HQ teams to maintain brand standards and deliver program excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Coaching background with kids 15 months to 11 years and ability to engage families.
• Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete HQ LearnUpon training as required.
• Pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus but not required.
• Prior management experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Understand center KPIs and financials to guide decisions.
• Build relationships with families and provide exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives: maintenance, training, brand consistency.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly cleaning and maintenance.
• Manage 4 weekdays and 1 weekend shift schedule.
• Sell and schedule events to maximize profitability.
