Job summary

KidStrong is seeking a part-time Assistant General Manager to work with the General Manager to foster a learning culture for coaches and families while driving sales performance.

Responsibilities include overseeing center operations, coaching staff development, and customer service, with a typical 4 weekdays and 1 weekend shift. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with experience with ages 6 months - 11 years.
• Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete training through KidStrong University as required by HQ Training and Certification team.
• Prior experience as pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required.
• Previous experience in management is preferred but not required.
• Practical work experience with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Previous experience with systems such as Glofox, Podium, CareerPlug, and PayChex is preferred but not required.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Understand KPIs and financials to make informed business decisions.
• Build relationships with families to provide exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives and maintenance.
• Daily, Weekly, and Monthly cleaning and maintenance of the center.
• Sell and schedule events such as camps and parties.
• Lead coaching culture and evaluate coaching candidates.
• Record attendance and awards using the KS Coaches App.
• Ensure safety and proper technique when working with kids.
