Job summary

KidStrong is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the GM in driving center performance and an exceptional family experience. Responsibilities include operations, coaching oversight, scheduling, event sales, and staff development.

The role emphasizes leadership, program delivery, and data-driven decisions to grow membership and reduce attrition. A strong coaching background and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with experience working with or coaching kids ages 15 months - 11 years old.
• Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete training through LearnUpon as required by HQ Training and Certification team.
• Pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus.
• Management experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Google/Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP is preferred but not required.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center’s KPIs and financials to inform decisions.
• Build relationships with families to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives (maintenance, training, branding).
• Clean and maintain the center daily/weekly/monthly.
• Manage scheduling including weekend shifts.
• Sell and schedule events to maximize profitability.
• Lead and mentor staff; partner with GM on onboarding and training.
• Coach students with Brain, Physical, and Character development.
• Record data using the KS Coaches App.
