Job summary

KidStrong in Carlsbad, CA seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in delivering excellence for kids and families. You will lead center operations, oversee coaching teams, and ensure a welcoming, high-energy environment across programs and events.

You will drive KPIs, guide customer service, schedule events, and monitor coaching hours while elevating staff through LearnUpon. Strong leadership, communication, and hands-on operation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching kids aged 15 months to 11 years is mandatory.
• Certification: Coach Certification through HQ Training.
• Training completed in LearnUpon as required by HQ.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in pediatric settings is a plus.
• Management experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Understand KPIs and financials to guide decisions.
• Build relationships with KidStrong families to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee center initiatives including maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Schedule events and manage coaching hours.
• Lead scheduling and communication via Slack and Email.
• Coach students with Brain, Physical, and Character development.
• Record attendance and awards using KS Coaches App.
• Ensure safety and proper technique for kids.
