Job summary

Family Dollar Here, you’ll support daily store operations by greeting customers, helping them locate merchandise, and completing sales quickly and accurately. You will assist the Store Manager with opening or closing duties and ensure the store remains clean, stocked, and inviting for shoppers in Indianapolis.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and reliability, with opportunities to grow through training and managing tasks when leadership is absent.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (55 lbs occasionally) and stand for long periods.
• HS diploma or equivalent; prior retail or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Handle transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock shelves.
• Assist in opening/closing duties and daily operations.
• Support asset protection and safe cash handling.
