Job summary

Family Dollar seeks a part-time retail associate to greet customers, help with merchandise and locate items, and efficiently process sales. You will support store operations, assist the Store Manager, and help maintain inventory and store appearance.

You will help unload deliveries, stock shelves, and ensure a positive image for customers and the community. Prior retail experience is preferred, with willingness to work flexible hours including holidays.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Retail or grocery management experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and validate store conditions.
