Job summary

Family Dollar in Picayune, MS is seeking a store associate to greet customers, help with merchandise selection, and complete sales transactions. You’ll support the Store Manager with daily tasks, maintain inventory, assist with deliveries, and help keep the store clean and welcoming.

In this role you may open or close the store in the Manager's absence, supervise conditions, and provide operational support to cashiers.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists with merchandise selection and locating items.
• Handles transactions accurately using the POS system and manages funds.
• Supports Store Manager with daily operations, inventory, and replenishment.
