Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time associate to greet customers, help with merchandise decisions, and efficiently complete sales. You will support store operations, assist the Store Manager, and ensure inventory and cleanliness standards are met.

The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with physical duties including lifting up to 40 lbs. and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives.
• Experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and complete sales transactions.
• Open or close store when needed and support daily store operations.
• Maintain inventory levels, assist with deliveries and replenishment, and keep store clean.
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold company policies.
