What You’ll Do

Reporting to the SVP, Sales, Life Sciences, the Account Vice President (Account VP) manages the relationship with a major biopharma partner. The role involves leading a team responsible for sales, delivery, and KPIs, developing strategies to ensure success and growth, overseeing and guiding a Key Account Director and Project Manager, and focusing on high-level account management and partnership development.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute account strategies, collaborate with teams, and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Client Engagement: Build relationships with executive and R&D leaders, understand partner strategies, and identify opportunities for platform leverage.
  • Revenue and Growth: Achieve revenue targets, explore new business opportunities, and negotiate contracts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead teams across functions to deliver value and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Thought Leadership: Develop case studies and provide market feedback.
  • Operational Excellence: Track progress, report to leadership, and travel as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership in sales and account management within high-growth environments.
  • Deep relationships in pharma and biotech sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders.
Experience
  • 10+ years in business development or sales in Life Sciences, with 5+ years in R&D or Real-World Data sectors.
  • Track record of negotiating large agreements and understanding molecular data and AI applications.
  • Advanced degrees preferred.
