What You’ll Do

Reporting to the SVP, Sales, Life Sciences, the Account Vice President manages the relationship with a major biopharma partner, leading a team responsible for sales, delivery, and KPIs. You will develop strategies to ensure success and growth, overseeing a Key Account Director and Project Manager, focusing on high-level account management, scientific collaboration, and partnership development.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop account strategies, collaborate with teams, and act as the executive owner of the partnership.
  • Client Engagement: Build relationships with executive and R&D teams, understanding their strategies to leverage Tempus platform for innovation.
  • Revenue and Growth: Achieve revenue goals, identify new opportunities, and negotiate large contracts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead teams across functions to deliver value and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Thought Leadership: Develop case studies and provide market feedback.
  • Operational Excellence: Track progress, report to leadership, and travel as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership in high-growth environments, ability to influence teams without authority.
  • Deep relationships within pharma and biotech sectors, experience managing complex client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, adaptability, and ability to inspire teams.
Experience
  • 10+ years in business development, sales, or account management in Life Sciences.
  • 5+ years working with R&D or Real-World Data companies.
  • Track record in negotiating large agreements, understanding molecular data and AI in drug discovery.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
