What You’ll Do

Reporting to the SVP, Sales, Life Sciences, the Account Vice President (Account VP) manages the business relationship with a major biopharma partner. Responsibilities include leading a team responsible for sales, delivery, and KPIs, developing strategies for growth, and overseeing account management and scientific collaboration.

Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop account strategies, align with teams, and meet KPIs.
  2. Client Engagement: Build relationships with senior client stakeholders and understand their strategies to leverage Tempus platform for innovation.
  3. Revenue and Growth: Achieve revenue goals, secure new business, and negotiate contracts.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead teams across functions to deliver value and ensure project success.
  5. Thought Leadership: Develop case studies and provide market feedback.
  6. Operational Excellence: Track progress, report to leadership, and travel as needed.
Qualifications
  1. Proven leadership in sales and account management in high-growth environments.
  2. Strong relationships within pharma and biotech sectors.
  3. Analytical skills and adaptability to evolving landscapes.
  4. Ability to influence and inspire teams.
Experience
  1. 10+ years in business development or sales in Life Sciences, with strategic account focus.
  2. 5+ years working with R&D or Real-World Data companies.
  3. Experience negotiating large agreements and understanding molecular data and AI in drug discovery.
  4. Advanced degree preferred.
