What You’ll Do

Reporting to the SVP, Sales, Life Sciences, the Account Vice President manages the relationship between Tempus and a major biopharma partner. Responsibilities include leading a team, developing strategies, and ensuring the delivery of value and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop account strategies, align with teams, and meet KPIs.
  • Client Engagement: Build relationships and identify opportunities within partner organizations.
  • Revenue and Growth: Achieve revenue targets and secure new business.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead teams across functions to deliver client value.
  • Thought Leadership: Develop case studies and provide market feedback.
  • Operational Excellence: Track progress, report to leadership, and travel as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership in sales and account management, especially in high-growth environments.
  • Deep relationships in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to influence and inspire teams.
Experience
  • 10+ years in business development, sales, or account management in Life Sciences.
  • 5+ years working with Life Sciences R&D or Real-World Data companies.
  • Track record in negotiating large agreements.
  • Knowledge of molecular data and AI in drug discovery.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
