Job summary

Alpha is a fast-growing learning campus opening across the country. This Youth Development Coach role is on-site, full-time, five days a week, and focuses on guiding K‑3 students through app-based core literacy learning.

You will diagnose decoding gaps, run short sessions for small groups, and maintain daily routines from morning launch to closing, with parents receiving weekly progress data. Relocation support is available for listed campuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years directly working with children ages 4-9
• Minimum 2 years teaching reading in K-3 (within last 5 years)
• Completed structured-literacy training or master’s in reading/literacy
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Coach students through app-based core learning and diagnose gaps
• Lead short literacy sessions for 2–4 students with targeted sequences
• Monitor progress to ensure weekly app goals are met
• Maintain routines from launch to closing with daily goal focus
• Use data and incentives to drive engagement and improvement
