Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a full-time, on-site Learning Coach on a Seattle campus. You will guide K-3 students through app-based literacy activities, diagnose gaps, and lead structured sessions with small groups.

You will stay with students across morning launches, lunch, and closing, ensuring daily goals are met. Relocation support is available; you must be legally eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9: teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, children\'s theater, or similar settings.
• At least 2 years of that experience teaching reading in grades K-3, within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training (LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS, Really Great Reading) or an advanced degree in reading or literacy.

Responsibilities

• Get every K-3 student to daily learning goals and close reading gaps.
• Coaching students through app-based core learning, diagnosing gaps and guiding progress.
• Lead morning launch, literacy sessions, and campus routines with consistency.
• Drive students toward weekly app goals using incentives and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing with proactive plans.
