Job summary

Crossover is seeking a Youth Development Coach for Alpha campuses in the United States. You will guide K–3 students through app-based learning, diagnose reading gaps, and craft short, targeted sequences to close those gaps. This on-site, full-time role requires relocation support and prior structured-literacy training.

You will lead morning launches, check-chart activities, and maintain daily routines that propel students toward weekly app goals, with ongoing progress updates for families.

Qualifications

• Willing to work on-site with relocation support.
• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9.
• At least 2 years teaching reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading or literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree; teaching certificate not required.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Comfort guiding students through app-based learning most of the day.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning; diagnose gaps and unblock them.
• Run short structured-literacy sessions for 2–4 students with targeted sequences.
• Lead morning launch, life-skills workshops, and daily routines.
• Drive weekly app goals using leaderboards and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch and closing; plan for frustrated children.
